Appointments

Appointments can be booked up to a month in advance.  Doctors appointments are of 10 minutes duration and an appointment is for a single consultation only. If other family members need to be seen, please ensure that you book each family member a separate appointment. Should you have a number of issues to discuss with the doctor, please advise the receptionist who will schedule extra time with the doctor.

Every effort is made to keep to time; however, given the complexity of some of our work, we would ask for your understanding if a surgery should be running late.

Urgent Appointments

We provide a telephone appointments service throughout the day during the hours 08:00 to 18:00. If patients have an urgent immediate need of medical advice or care on the day they are advised to ring the surgery. Your name and contact details will be passed to a Duty Dr who will call you back and after an initial assessment you will either be given advice over the telephone or booked in to see a Doctor later that same day.

Please remember it may not always be possible to see the doctor of your choice in an emergency.

Routine Face-to-Face Appointments

You can book a routine face-to-face appointment by using Vision Online Services or by calling Reception on 0208 977 2638.

Routine Telephone Appointments

If you have a query concerning your medication or a question relating to an ongoing condition please telephone the surgery to request a telephone appointment. A doctor will call you back sometime during the day of the telephone appointment.

Please be advised that reception cannot accept requests for medication over the telephone because it is not safe to do so (see the prescriptions tab).

Home Visits

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

If you are unable to attend the surgery and need to be seen urgently, please telephone reception as soon as possible to request a home visit. The duty doctor will contact you to discuss your requirement before visiting you at home.

Please remember that several patients can be seen at the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. Please take this into consideration when making a request for a home visit.

Nurse Appointments

All appointments for our Practice Nurses and Health Care and Administration Assistant are pre-bookable. Please call 0208 977 2638 to book or ask at reception. As a team they provide some of the service traditionally provided by GPs, including reviews for Asthma, Diabetes, CHD, Smoking Cessation and INR Testing. This helps extend the range of services we provide as well as improving accessibility for patients.
